Our Coaches

Mountainside Lacrosse is dedicated to building a top lacrosse program in the metro league. We are committed to and integrated system where all levels of play will benefit from our top level coaches as they build systems and styles of play that can be built on over the years so that by the time your athlete tries out for varsity, they will already have all the knowledge and skills needed to compete at a top level. Introducing the coaching staff that will help build our top level lacrosse club.

Ryder's Bio

Ryder hails from Eugene, OR. After a career at South Eugene High School, where he was a four year varsity starter, three year captain, and set schools records in saves, save percentage, and saves-per-game, Ryder went on to play two years at the University of Oregon, before transferring to Oregon State University. During his college career, Ryder transitioned from goalie to attack, eventually going on to become one of OSU's top five assist getters his senior year. Ryder currently coaches for Lacrosse Northwest, and plays transition for the Portland Voodoo of the IBLA, the NLL's minor league.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Daniel is a former D-III player for UDC and the JV HC for Mountainside Lacrosse. With over a decade of playing experience, Danny has also coached at the high school and middle school level, and worked for 3D Lacrosse as well. Danny plays for the Portland Voodoo, the NLL minor league affiliate. 

Jaren Breault

Defensive Coordinator/Varsity Assistant Coach

A homegrown Oregon product, Jaren grew up playing lacrosse in West Linn, before becoming a defender for the Southern Oregon University Raiderhawks in Ashland, OR at the D-II level.

Jaren has been the defensive coordinator for Mountainside lacrosse since 2018 and is a special education teacher for the Beaverton School District.
